Press Release: NAWBO Buffalo Niagara installed its 2017/2018 board of directors

The National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO), Buffalo Niagara Chapter installed its 2017/2018 board of directors at The Westin Buffalo on June 14th.

Marcia C. Brogan, owner of Marcia C. Brogan Agency LLC, was installed as president of NAWBO Buffalo Niagara; other officers include President-Elect Christine Howard, E. B. Howard Consulting; Secretary Suzanne Novelli, Alliance Advisory Group Inc.; and Treasurer Denise Gueli, Bonadio & Co LLP.  Lisa Coppola, The Coppola Firm and The English Gardener, will serve as the chapter’s immediate past president.

Chapter directors installed that evening include Lynne Bona, Mallare Enterprises, Inc.; Lidia Couzo, Sunbelt Business Brokers; Kim Cox, Secret Valley Media Labs LLC; Stephanie Gelber, Gelber & O’Connell, LLC; Alora Gross, Ruby Ribbon Shapeware; Kelly O’Neill, Lighthouse Financial Asset Management, LLC; Jaime Ruggiero, Jobena Supply; and Janna Willoughby-Lohr, Papercraft Miracles.

President Brogan said, “Our theme this year is “empower yourself” – the chapter’s aim is to educate and connect women so they can propel their businesses forward.  We’ll also be collaborating with local high schools to encourage young women to become entrepreneurs and help prepare them for their futures.”
