UB CAT Request for Proposals to provide funding for R&D projects

The University at Buffalo Center for Advanced Biomedical and Bioengineering Technology (UB CAT) program has just opened its annual request for proposals (RFP) to provide hard-to-find support, including critical funding for R&D projects.

New and established life sciences companies of all sizes who wish to accelerate development or improvement of a biomedical product or service – from devices, diagnostics, and software to drugs and supply chain offerings – are encouraged to apply by the March 31st deadline, which provides funding for the upcoming cycle (beginning July 1, 2017 and ending June 30, 2018).

The UB CAT will award matching funds to eligible projects including 1) New product development, 2) Product design & optimization, including prototype development, 3) Testing services utilizing specialized equipment, 4) Validation and quality control, 5) Clinical trials, and 6) Other projects supporting commercialization.
