On behalf of Empire State Development’s Division of Minority and Women’s Business Development, we invite you to join us at the 2018 NYS Regional MWBE Opportunities Expo Series.

Co-hosted by Empire State Development’s Regional Offices, the MWBE Opportunities Expo brings together the various New York State Agencies and Authorities that have a significant presence in each region to provide MWBE firms local networking opportunities.

Expos may include panel discussions on the Regional Economic Development Council, key projects in the specific region, and the MWBE goal setting process for these projects. In coordination with the Regional Offices, MWBEs will receive information on how to find opportunities for their participation on these key projects.

In addition to providing the opportunity to meet the procurement officers of various NYS agencies and authorities, the event will feature several workshops and panel discussions delivering important information about doing business with New York State including information on the New York State’s Minority and Women-Owned Business Enterprise (MWBE) Certification Program and Governor Cuomo’s statewide goal of 30% utilization. You will also have the opportunity to learn about the many business development resources available to help MWBE firms grow their companies and increase their New York State procurement opportunities.New York State is pleased to offer its support to MWBEs.
