SUMMARY:Dinner Meeting | November 2026
DESCRIPTION:November Dinner Meeting | The Power of Improv: Listen\, Connect\, and Think on Your Feet\nProgram Overview: At our November dinner meeting\, Scott Wojtanik\, owner and lead facilitator of Thundersnow Learning & Development LLC\, will introduce us to the unexpected ways improvisation and theatre skills can strengthen communication\, build confidence\, and create more meaningful connections in business and everyday life. \nRunning a business often means thinking on your feet\, navigating unexpected challenges\, and communicating with people who bring different perspectives to the table. What if some of the skills that make improv performers successful could also make us better business owners\, leaders\, and collaborators? \nScott brings a refreshing\, interactive approach to professional development\, using humor\, creativity\, and the principles of improvisation to explore how we listen\, respond\, and connect with others. His philosophy is simple: When we stay fully present\, listen with the intent to understand\, and release some of the pressure we put on ourselves to have the perfect response\, we create space for better conversations\, stronger relationships\, and genuine discovery. \nThis isn’t about becoming a comedian or performing on stage. It’s about learning to be more comfortable with uncertainty\, embracing spontaneity\, and recognizing how a willingness to engage can open doors in business and beyond. \nWhether you’re leading a team\, meeting a potential client\, navigating a difficult conversation\, or simply looking to become a more confident communicator\, this promises to be an engaging evening filled with practical insights\, connection\, and a little laughter along the way. \n🎤 Featured Speaker: Scott Wojtanik | Thundersnow Learning & Development LLC \nScott Wojtanik is the owner and lead facilitator of Thundersnow Learning & Development LLC\, where improv and theatre skills turn learning and development into laughter and discovery. \nOriginally from Eden\, NY\, Scott earned a bachelor’s degree in economics from SUNY Geneseo and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from St. Bonaventure University. His professional background includes a decade in wholesale\, four years running a theatre company\, and more than 15 years studying\, performing\, and teaching improvisation. \nScott focuses on bringing theatre skills offstage and into everyday professional and personal interactions. Through his work\, he encourages people to stay present\, listen with intention\, release unnecessary pressure\, and discover how humor and genuine connection can transform the way we communicate and collaborate. \n📍Location: The iconic Chef’s Restaurant\, 291 Seneca Street\, Buffalo\, NY \n⏰ Time: Doors open at 5:30 p.m. \n🚀 Perks: Complimentary parking | 🍷 Cash bar available \n🎉 First Time Joining Us?
