FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: President-Elect Lisa Coppola honored by NAWBO Buffalo-Niagara at the SBA Luncheon

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE. May 6, 2016. Buffalo, New York. On May 11th, Attorney Lisa Coppola, owner of Lisa Coppola LLC, will be celebrated at the upcoming Small Business Matchmaker, Awards Luncheon and Expo.  The Buffalo-Niagara chapter of NAWBO (the National Association of Women Business Owners) selected Ms. Coppola for her vision of building strong businesses in the community. She currently is the owner of three businesses including Lisa Coppola LLC, a newly-established law firm, and The English Gardener, a garden design and construction company.

As the incoming President of NAWBO Buffalo-Niagara, she already has made a strong impact on the organization, working hard to almost triple attendance at meetings. Current NAWBO Buffalo-Niagara President Sabina Ramsey said: “Lisa has shown great leadership with her willingness to work hard to reach set goals for this year. She is a fierce but compassionate individual whom I feel honored to work with. I am excited to see what happens next year as I know she will continue to lead NAWBO towards a bright future.”

The award will be presented to Ms. Coppola on May 11th at the Annual Small Business Week Awards Luncheon at the Buffalo Convention Center.

Lisa Coppola, President-Elect NAWBO (National Association of Women Business Owners) Buffalo-Niagara Lisa A. Coppola, Esq. is an entrepreneur and attorney who partners with clients in business planning and dispute resolution, human resources counseling, charter school law, and government compliance matters. She is the managing partner of Lisa Coppola LLC. Lisa is a fellow of the Litigation Counsel of America and an Upstate Super Lawyer and has been recognized by Business First as a Legal Elite, Woman of Influence, and Woman Who Means Business.  In 2015, Lisa became the first WNY attorney to receive the New York State Bar Association’s Outstanding Pro Bono Volunteer Award. Sabina Ramsey, President NAWBO (National Association of Women Business Owners) Buffalo-Niagara Sabina Ramsey is the 2015-2016 elected President of NAWBO Buffalo-Niagara. She also is the Founder and Managing Partner of Insight International, a creative agency she launched in 2008. As a problem solver, leader and strategic planner, Sabina leads Insight’s development of professional digital and traditional marketing programs for corporations, small businesses, nonprofits, and community initiatives. She holds a Master’s Degree in Sociology and a Bachelor’s Degree in International Social Science from Linneaus University in Southern Sweden and has studied business and social sciences at the University of Ottawa and the IHM Business School.
