Morning Mingle with Our Elected Officials

Friday, November 13, 2026 | 8:30 AM – 9:45 AM

Connecting Women Business Owners with the Leaders Who Represent Them

Your voice matters. Your business matters. And you deserve a seat at the table.

NAWBO – Buffalo/Niagara invites our members, invited leaders of fellow women business owner organizations, and elected officials to join us for a morning of meaningful conversation and connection.

This gathering creates an opportunity for women business owners to engage directly with public officials, share their experiences, build relationships, and discuss the opportunities and challenges affecting entrepreneurship and the business community across our region.

Belonging is central to this event. Women business owners represent diverse industries, backgrounds, experiences, perspectives, and political beliefs. Every participant deserves to feel welcome, respected, and heard. We believe meaningful engagement begins when people come together, find common ground, and recognize the shared interests that connect us as business owners.

This is a nonpartisan, bipartisan gathering. Elected officials from across the political spectrum are welcome. This is not a campaign event, and political campaigning, candidate promotion, and partisan activities are not permitted. Our focus is on strengthening relationships between women business owners and the elected officials whose decisions affect their businesses and communities.

Whether you regularly engage in public policy discussions or have never had a conversation with an elected official, this event is for you. You do not need political experience, a particular viewpoint, or an established relationship with an elected official to participate. Your perspective as a business owner is valuable, and you belong in the conversation.

More Ways to Connect. More Reasons to Belong.

Our events are just one way to connect, learn, and build meaningful relationships. Whether you’re attending a NAWBO – Buffalo/Niagara gathering or exploring opportunities hosted by our members and community partners, there’s always something happening across WHY. Here’s what distinguishes our Chapter Events from Community Events.

Chapter Events are organized and hosted by NAWBO – Buffalo/Niagara. These include monthly dinner meetings, held on the second Wednesday of each month, September through June, along with workshops, networking gatherings, and special events.

Community Events are hosted by our members, partners, and other organizations throughout WNY. These include educational programs, networking opportunities, fundraisers, and other events that support women business owners and our broader business community.
