Empowering Women with the Power of the Pen

Women supporting women during a pandemic with powerful messages

NAWBO Buffalo Niagara begins a new “Hope and Healing” initiative.

The Buffalo Niagara Chapter of the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO©) has jumpstarted a new initiative to help propel our women business owners during this unsettling time.

“A simple message goes a long way.  This is all about sisters lifting up sisters during a difficult time,” says Paula D’Amico, President NAWBO Buffalo-Niagara.”

Laura Zimberg is the owner of Green Pastures Still Waters.  She uses the power of massage to help heal her clients physically.  Some of those clients happen to be the Buffalo Bills.  Laura is now using the power of the pen to help our members know that we are not just thinking of them, we stand strong with them now and every day.

“This year is the year of change and support.  There is no better person to lead off this initiative than our chapter ambassador”, adds Paula D’Amico.

This is NOT a social media campaign.  Our “Hope and Healing Initiative” is a simple letter writing movement where powerful and uplifting messages are sent out in the mail.

The Buffalo Niagara Chapter of the National Association of Women Business Owners brings together some of this area’s strongest female business leaders, forming a powerful and supportive community.

The local chapter continues to propel women business owners into greater economic, social, and political spheres this upcoming year with a wide variety of programming as well as the introduction of a new Diversity and Inclusion Task Force and the Next-Gen HS WNY movement.
