NAWBO Mastermind – June 2025

What is a mastermind? Some people call it a hot seat. It’s a group setting where you ask a question, and everyone else tells you what comes to their mind in the moment as an answer.
It is not coaching. It is not therapy. It’s brainstorming ideas to help you with a challenge you are having. It also has to be confidential.

NAWBO Buffalo Niagara Mastermind Confidentiality Obligations:
1. Confidential Information: All discussions, ideas, insights, and personal or business information shared by participants in the Mastermind Group (“Confidential Information”) shall remain strictly confidential.
2. Non-Disclosure: Participants agree not to disclose, share, or otherwise use any Confidential Information obtained during Mastermind sessions outside of the group, except with the explicit permission of the individual who shared it.
3. Session Participation: Participants may attend as needed for sharing challenges or offering input. Regardless of attendance, all confidentiality obligations remain binding.
By participating in the Mastermind Group, you acknowledge and agree to these confidentiality terms.

Here’s what distinguishes our Chapter Events from Community Events.
Chapter Events are organized and hosted by NAWBO – Buffalo/Niagara. These include monthly dinner meetings, held on the second Wednesday of each month, September through June, along with workshops, networking gatherings, and special events.
Community Events are hosted by our members, partners, and other organizations throughout WNY. These include educational programs, networking opportunities, fundraisers, and other events that support women business owners and our broader business community.
