Lisa Coppola Named to NAWBO’s Presidents Assembly Steering Committee

NAWBO Buffalo Niagara is proud to announce that its President, Lisa A. Coppola, Esq., has been named to the National Association of Women Business Owners’ National Presidents Assembly Steering Committee (PASC) for a two-year term beginning June 2017.  The NAWBO PASC is responsible for serving as the voice of almost 60 NAWBO chapter across the United States on the National Board and facilitating communications between the national organization and its chapters, facilitating chapter collaboration/information sharing via webinars, creating a community of chapter leaders, and helping chapter leaders with strategic planning and problem resolution.

“I’m honored to serve in this capacity for the national organization,” said Coppola, noting that “leading the Buffalo Niagara chapter during a year when it grew to over 100 members and collaborated with fine local business organizations such as the Amherst Chamber of Commerce and Westminster Economic Development Initiative has been a highlight of my career.”

Coppola is an attorney in private practice concentrating on serving entrepreneurs and employers. She also owns, along with her partner Joseph Han, Buffalo’s premier garden design and construction firm, The English Gardener.  In addition to her work with NAWBO, Coppola serves on the Roswell Alliance Community Board and the Health Sciences Charter School Board of Trustees.
