Guest Speaker: Lindsey Zajac of Ahern, Murphy, & Associates.
Our focus will be getting 2022 off to a great start for our WNY businesswomen. The focus will be on dreaming big and setting long-term business goals. This will be an interactive presentation.
Lindsey A. Zajac is a principal with Ahern, Murphy & Associates, a leadership development firm serving Central and Western NY. In this role, Lindsey is able to leverage her passion for leadership development and coaching to help organizations develop and retain their employees while improving their overall performance. Prior to Ahern, Murphy & Associates, Lindsey had a fifteen-year, corporate Human Resources career in fast-paced organizations including PepsiCo, Eaton Corporation, Saab Sensis and Next Jump. Training and Development, Talent Management, Employee Relations, Recruiting, and Succession Planning are Lindsey’s areas of expertise. At PepsiCo, Lindsey was a Senior Human Resources Manager supporting the largest market in the country, Upstate NY.
As a mother of two small children, Lindsey understands how challenging it can be to excel at work and at home. She believes that career women today need a heightened level of support and resources to be successful both at work and at home. This inspired Lindsey to obtain an Advanced Coaching Certification from the Gaia Project for Women’s Leadership as well as an Executive Leadership Certificate from Cornell University so she can more effectively coach women in business. Lindsey graduated cum laude from Providence College where she earned a BA in Political Science and a Minor in Women’s Studies.
Currently, Lindsey serves on the Board of Journey’s End as well as the Board of the Buffalo Niagara Sales and Marketing Executives (BNSME). Lindsey serves as a facilitator for the Leader Exchange program through the Buffalo Niagara Partnership and as a facilitator of the Master Advisory group through the Women’s Business Center at Canisius College.
