Albany Advocacy Day March 26
Albany Advocacy Day hosted by NAWBO Buffalo Niagara and New York City Chapters!
The Buffalo Niagara and NYC chapters are collaborating on a trip to our state capitol! The Advocacy committees from both chapters have a great day planned that includes a tour of the capitol building and a scheduled meeting with Assemblymember Marianne Buttenschon – 119th District, Chair, Committee on Small Business at 11 am.
You can opt to travel on Tuesday, March 25, and stay over at a local Albany hotel or Airbnb or travel early Wednesday for the day. We can carpool!

8:00 AM Meet for Breakfast
9:45 AM Arrive at Capitol building
10:00 AM Meeting with Senator George M. Borrello, District 57 (Upstate/ Western New York) Republican Party
11:00 AM Meeting with Assemblymember Marianne Buttenschon, District 119 (portions of Oneida and Herkimer County) Democratic Party and *Chair of the NYS Assembly Committee on Small Business
12:00 PM Meeting with Senator James Sanders Jr, District 10 (Suffolk County) Democratic Party and *Chair of the Economic Development Committee
1:00 PM Tour and Lunch at Capitol
2:30 PM Optional legislative visits/ tours
4:00 PM End of Day – optional networking
Our meetings are with Representatives from the Democratic Party and the Republican Party
The Representatives we are meeting with represent Upstate New York, Central, and Downstate.
For anyone who wishes to travel to Albany on Tuesday, March 25, we have a room block at the Renaissance Albany Hotel and will be reserving a table in the hotel for dinner. NOTE! The room block is available until 6 PM on Sunday, March 23rd.
